FIFA President Gianni Infantino confirmed the dates for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, announcing on Friday that it will be held from the 21st of November to the 18th of December. So, we can officially say that the final match will be played just a week before Christmas.
With all World Cups played in June and July, this tournament will be the first winter World Cup. It’s not quite clear just yet how it will impact the club seasons throughout the world. However, the first Arab country to host the event is planning eight new stadiums for the tournament.
