Mobile Apps to Keep You on Track

0

I love my phone! Actually you can call me a phone addict. From checking my email, to social networking and of course using Whatsapp. But, there is a lot more you can do than that.

Thanks to the amazing new apps that are being created everyday, now you can use your phone as a personal trainer, calorie-counter and even offering some healthy eating tips.

Check out some of the highest rated apps for Android and IOS:

MyFitnessPal (Free – IOS & Android)

This is actually my favorite fitness app! I personally use it DAILY to track my progress. With more than 2 million foods in its database and 300 free exercises, this app has got it all. Making your own recipe? No worries! You can enter them and calculate their nutritional content. You can even scan the barcode of a food to know all the nutritional facts you need. My favorite part is that you can track your progress, set your goal and track your measurements. Also, you can sync it all on the web to check them online and for backup. I couldn’t ask for more.

This app is highly reviewed on Google Play, and an editor’s pick from both PC Magazine & Wired.

Endomondo (Free & Paid – IOS & Android)

You can either download this app for free or get the PRO one. This app will let you track outdoor sports (running, cycling or skiing). If you get the pro app, you can have a time goal, coach goal and even a customized audio coach, and you can even race your friends! But, the best tip is: getting an interval program or customize your own. Just like MyFitnesspal, you can track your progress online by signing up on their website.

The pro app is an editor’s pick on Google Play

Diet Point (Free & Paid- IOS & Android)

Don’t know what to eat? Diet point offers a high variety of diet plans. The free app gives you 55 plans while paid app gives you 150, or you can just make your own plan with more than 500+ tips. Also, it comes with BMI,  BMR  and weight tracker.

Best tip: reminding you with your meals!

Remember those apps won’t do the workouts for you; however, they can definitely motivate you and keep you on track.
