Kuwait Summer Festival Kicks Off On May 11 With Star-Studded Lineup

Kuwait is bringing the heat this summer season with its Kuwait Summer Festival. With a killer lineup, the festival kicks off on Thursday, May 11 until Saturday, May 13. Set to take place at The Kuwait Arena (TAK), considered the country’s largest indoor events venue the festival is expecting over 5,000 people.

Kicking things off on Thursday are none other than Egypt’s Angham and Tamer Ashor who will be performing hits like ‘W Nefdal Norkos’ or ‘Khaleeny fe Hodnak.’ The pair will be accompanied by an orchestra led by Egyptian maestro Hany Farhat.

On the second day, May 12, Egypt’s favorite heartthrob, Tamer Hosny will take center stage, performing his eclectic hits that range from ‘Awelny Kalam’ to ‘180 Degrees.’ Hosny will be backed up by Miami Band, a Khaliji band from Kuwait.

For the duo we never knew we needed, concerts by Lebanese Elissa and Syrian Assala will take place on May 13. So get ready for those heartbreaking ballads; everything from ‘Law Aoullak’ to ‘El Warda El Balady.’

Following the festival’s close, you can catch El Hadabah, Amr Diab on stage for that much-needed dose of nostalgia on May 18. You can grab tickets for the festival from The Arena Kuwait’s website.
