Ever wondered what it would be like to see Kobe Bryant coach a game of celebrity basketball?
No need to wonder anymore: The Lakers MVP (most valuable player) and NBA superstar Kobe Bryant is going to Dubai this weekend to do exactly that.
In honor of Health and Fitness weekend, Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC) has invited Bryant to coach a celebrity basketball game and host other activities in support of diabetes awareness at the state-of-art Knights Arena at the American University in Dubai this Friday, September 27, 2013. The game will then be followed by a slam dunk competition, which Bryant himself will be judging.
Bryant will also be holding a Basketball Skills Clininc on Thursday, September 26 in Abu Dhabi.
Big enough news? No? Good because there’s MORE! During halftime, Soulja Boy and Marques Houston will take center stage for a special performance and rumour has it y’all will be in it, so I would go with my dance shoes if I were you.
Excited already? Okay but there’s one more thing: People by Crystal is hosting a welcome party for Kobe Bryant with a special performance by Lil Jon On Thursday, September 26th. For Reservations call 050 297 2097
Basically if you are in Dubai this week, Lucky You!
