K-Pop Groups Exo and BTS to Get Stars at Dubai Walk of Fame

The music was heard at the Dubai Fountain and people saw their faces presented on the Burj Khalifa. The K-pop groups Exo and BTS are showing up again in Dubai but this time they are getting awarded a Dubai Star on the city’s soon-to-be-opened Walk of Fame.
The South Korean boy bands will be getting the award this October. The Dubai Stars is a project by EMAAR which aims to honor the most influencial personalities and impactful talents from several fields around the world including music, film, art, architecture, sports, literature, social media influence, innovation, and social work. Encased in stars, the names of the people awarded will be decorating the sidewalk of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Boulevard in Downtown Dubai.
According to Dubai stars, 400 names will be displayed at the opening in October. Next to Exo and BTS, we will be seeing names of other stars like Jackie Chan and Shah Rukh Khan.

According to the announcement, Fans will be nominating up to three of their favorite celebrities to be awarded a Dubai Star until the 31st of July on the Dubai Star website. It is worth mentioning that the very strong fan base of both bands in the Arab World are celebrating the news widely on social media.
