In Pictures: Iraqi Airways’ First-Ever Landing at Berlin Airport in 1969

Based in Baghdad, Iraqi Airways is the second oldest airline in the Middle East. It started operating back in 1946 with both domestic and regional services with the help of the British Overseas Airway Corporations. In April of 1960, the Iraqi airline became independent from the railway company which allowed it to increase its services across the Middle East, Africa, and Europe.
