In Images: Egyptian Judo Champion Stuck in Azerbijan Airport Prior Championship

Social media has been set ablaze when photos surfaced of an Egyptian judo champion sleeping on an Airport’s floor. Allegedly, Mohamed Mohy is participating this week in the World Judo Championship in Baku, Azerbaijan, only to find himself unable to exit the airport due to a problem in his visa.

According to the viral post, the player had the old passport number printed on his entry visa by Egyptian Judo, Aikido & Sumo Federation. The player found himself stuck for hours prior to the competition which would definitely affect his performance. Soon after the incident went viral, the Egyptian embassy got involved and solved Mohy’s issue.
