Hip-Hop Guru Matt Steffanina to Give Classes in Dubai Next Month
As part of his European tour that includes major cities such as London, Madrid, and Paris, Hip Hop icon, Matt Steffanina, is going to make a stop in the Middle East in Dubai! It was unexpected to include the Arab city in his jammed itinerary since it’s not so European, but seems like those fellow Emiratis; and everyone living there, are lucky enough.
The tour starts in Madrid on September the 19th and Dubai will be Steffanina’s final stop on October 5th. He’ll be giving two classes at GymNation; the beginner/intermediate class from 6:30 to 7:30 pm and the advanced level class from 8:00 to 9:15 pm. Attending the single class plus a meet and greet will cost you AED 145 while the ticket for the two-class package also with a meet and greet is for AED 250. Just bear in mind that registration will be open from 5:30 to 6:30 pm, however, if you’re only attending the second class, just be there 30 minutes in advance. Oh, and there are no age restrictions but young participants need to stay aware of their surroundings. Matt’s classes can sometimes include 200 dancers or more so you need to watch out.
For the hip-hop beginners who still aren’t familiar with who Steffanina is or how major this is, he’s one of the greatest choreographers/producers in history. He performed on So You Think You Can Dance back in his old days, made several appearances on The Ellen Show and danced for artists such as Chris Brown, Snoop Dog, and Tyga. He also did the epic choreo for Jason Derulo’s If I’m Lucky and more. So getting the chance to spend an hour or so with such a guy especially if you’re trying to break through the industry, is an opportunity you shouldn’t miss.
