What Happened to Fanous Ramadan?

The fanous has always been an essential part of Ramadan, especially for kids. Tradition has it that grandparents or parents always give their children Ramadan lanterns as a gift to celebrate the Holy month.

Remember when this used to be the fanous you’d get?

Now someone tell me how THIS is supposed to be a fanous?

Or THIS!

Or Batman? Seriously? Just because he sings to Ihab Tawfeek, it doesn’t make it Fanous material!

And of course we all know the most ridiculous of them all….
