Get Active At Riyadh’s Fitness Expo Kicking Off May 18

Tie up those shoelaces and get your workout clothes ready because the largest fitness expo in Saudi Arabia starts this week in Riyadh. Kicking off on Thursday, May 18, the adrenaline-filled expo expands until Saturday, May 20. So fill your water bottle as we give you all the details.

The three-day expo brought together by the Saudi Sports for All Federation (SFA) is set to take place at the Riyadh Front. Being the inaugural edition, the event aims to bring families of all ages closer to the sports and fitness scene.

This is seen through the classes available for you to take part in that range from Zumba to Pilates, as well as offering age-appropriate classes for kids.

But that’s not all; there will also be a host of shopping deals and retail offers, with leading local and international sports goods suppliers in addition to activewear and fitness brands, and wellness and nutrition companies.

The SFA president, Prince Khaled bin Alwaleed Al-Saud shared his excitement for the expo, saying, “we are delighted to be launching this one-of-a-kind event; a community-focused exhibition that celebrates the power and culture of local sports.”

He also went on to add that, “the SFA Health and Fitness Expo is the latest step we have taken to distinguish Saudi Arabia as a world-class sports hub; one in which all people are empowered to live their best lives and fulfill their athletic potential — be it just as a hobby, as a social pursuit, or a career goal.”

Tickets to the expo are SAR50 for a one-day pass, SAR100 for a three-day pass, SAR20 for a one-day kids pass and SAR50 for a three-day kids pass. You can get your hands on your ticket through the Platinumlist website.
