Georges Hobeika is a Lebanese Fashion Designer with a world-renowned signature in the fashion game. He opened his first atelier in Beirut over 20 years ago. Since then, he has been known for his haute-couture, ready-to-wear clothing, as well as bridal gowns. He has also designed for royal families in Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Kuwait.
Hobeika had all the soon-to-be brides head-over-heels with this golden bridal gown, which took 300 hours to make! The gown was worn by Maya Jama, who happens to be Liam Payne’s partner, during the Lebanese designer’s showcase at Paris Fashion Week 2020.
Jennifer Lopez chose Hobeika as her designer twice recently. The singer-turned-actress turned heads after appearing in a subtle, black off-the-shoulder gown with not-so-subtle bow detailing at the 2020 Screen Actors Guild Awards on Monday.
This was the second time J.Lo turns to Hobeika, after dazzling her fans in a simple yet elegant backless, champagne gown, at the 2020 Critics Choice Awards.
