First Greek University Campus Abroad Will Be Located In Egypt

Egypt is set to become home to the first Greek university campus Abroad. Greek University of Patras Egypt Campus will be located in the country’s second-largest city, Alexandria. 

The University of Patras is the third largest city in Greece and is set to be fully functional by 2025. The University of Patras is the third largest University in Greece and will welcome students in 2025 to their first Campus outside of Greece.

The Alexandria campus will offer units including philosophy, language and Greek history and culture. The University’s Campus in Alexandria will consist of a Greek-speak department and an English-speaking department. 

The announcement follows an agreement made between the Greek Government and the Greek Community of Alexandria.
