Everything You Need to Know About Dubai Harbour
Oh my! His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai has just announced the development of Dubai Harbour (do not confuse it with Dubai Creek Harbour). What’s that, you say? Well, let us tell you it’s a new waterfront destination that is going to feature the Middle East and North Africa region’s largest marina ever, obviously.
The iconic luxury waterfront destination, spread over 20 million sq. feet, will include a 1400-berth marina as well as a cruise ship port and terminal, a shopping mall covering 3.5 million sq. feet, residential buildings, hotels, offices, restaurants and much more. It is set to be completed in 2021.
Dubai Harbour will be accessible by land, sea and air, so no worries about getting there once it’s all built. The star of the Dubai Harbour is going to be the Dubai Lighthouse – a 135-metre-high building (featuring a luxury hotel) that is going to look out of this world. Literally.
WE SAID THIS: The destination will also feature the largest shopping mall in the area. Obviously.
