Egypt’s Cotton Exports Rise to 50.6% in the Last Year!

Egypt’s cotton exports for the second quarter of the agricultural season for the year 2017-2018 have risen to 50.6%, according to a report by the government-run Central Agency for Public Mobilisation and Statistics (CAPMAS).
The exports last year was only around 12.6%, which is around 431,000 metric kantars. This is the highest ever since the 2011 revolution.
