Dior’s Cruise 2020 in Marrakech Was Simply Phenomenal!
Leading French luxury brand, Dior, is known for its strong presence in different regions of the world. It’s also known for throwing fashion shows that reshape the international fashion scene with each new collection. For its Resort 2020 collection, Dior traveled to the MENA region, to one of the most interesting destinations they could have possibly chosen, Marrakech!
The fashion show took place in a historic palace, that dates back to the 16th century, El Badi Palace. Hundreds of floating candles and fire pits were lit to make the show more stunning than it is already. Marrakech wasn’t only the host of the show, but also an inspiration to the new collection.
The collection features a series of collaborations with several African artists. Maria Grazia Chiuri, Creative Director at Dior, aimed to appreciate rather than appropriate in the latest collection.
Dior released some of the most stunning videos related to the show in Marrakech. Everyone’s favorite is, by all means, the special guest that made her catwalk debut, a Moroccan street cat! The video went super viral across all media platforms. They also released some super interesting videos of the collaborations made for the collection.
