The Oscars predictions have been a topic of discussion since 2023 kickstarted: who will win best actor, who will win best actress and the biggest of all, the coveted one, the best picture! But as the Oscars actually take place, for a second, all of these questions are put on the back burner and one question springs to mind, what are these actors wearing? So with the Academy Awards being on last night, we thought there was no other perfect time than to look back at some of the celebrities that rocked the red carpet wearing Arab designers.

Lebanese designer, Elie Saab, made quite the impression at the 95th Academy Awards, as he not only dressed one celebrity but three.

British model, Cara Delevingne, looked fire as she wore a Saab red gown paired with chunky heels for the ultimate rocker vibe. American actress, Monica Barbaro donned a v-neck, maroon, and blue, color-blocked gown, courtesy of the Lebanese designer. There was also English model, Suki Waterhouse, who was indeed ready to party. Dressed in a metallic cut-out gown, the look was perfect for the Oscars after-party.

Next up was Lebanese designer, Zuhair Murad who also slayed the red carpet with eclectic fashion. From American actress Tiffany Haddish’s multi-colored metallic gown, and actress Eva Longoria’s silver gown with mirror details, to model, Chrissy Teigen wearing a gold and green gown with feather and beading detail.

Chinese superstar Fan Bingbing dazzled in a sparkling, old Hollywood gown by Lebanese designer, Tony Ward with an emerald green shawl for that dramatic detail.

Modern Family star, Sofia Vergara, looked chic as she wore a gold and silver strapless gown by none-other-than Lebanese designer, Reem Acra.

Everyone’s favorite Lebanese talk show host, Raya Abirached looking cheerful as ever in a bright orange beaded gown. The gorgeous gown was designed by Lebanese designer, Georges Hobeika.
