Catch Some Waves At Abu Dhabi’s World Largest Wave Pool
For the ultimate summer experience, Abu Dhabi is going to be home to the world’s largest artificial wave facility. Dubbed “Surf Abu Dhabi”, it’s going to feature the world’s biggest man-made wave pool. Anyone can come and catch some waves as the facility as it is catered to beginners as well as pro-surfers.
Surf Abu Dhabi is set to open at the end of 2023 at Hudayriyat Island. It is just one small part of the massive master plan for the island; along with the wave facility, the island will also be home to a regional first velodrome and the biggest urban park in Abu Dhabi.
Beyond being a place to catch some waves, the facility also has the potential to host big tour competitions. With so many big plans for Hudayriryat Island, it is shaping up to become one of Abu Dhabi’s go-to summer destinations.
