Rejoice UAE Citizens You No Longer Need A Visa To Visit Canada!

“The United Arab Emirates is a key strategic partner and lifting the visa requirement will help reaffirm the strong relationship between our two countries,” Canada’s Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship, Ahmed Hussein, said in statement.
The Canadian government issued a press release on Monday announcing that the UAE meets Canada’s visa requirements. Therefore, Canada will lift the visa restrictions on UAE citizens starting from 5 June 2018.
This decision would allow Emirati citizens to travel to Canada for short stays without needing to go through the process of obtaining a visa. Short stays don’t normally exceed six months for business, to visit family, and friends, or for tourism.
Canada is the ninth country this year to lift visa restrictions for on UAE citizens following countries such as China, Ireland, Burkina Faso, Uruguay, Guinea, Tonga, and Honduras.
