Breaking: Egypt’s Latest Lockdown Updates
A while ago, the Egyptian Cabinet announced that restaurants, cafes, cafeterias, night clubs, casinos across the country will be closed from 7 pm to 6 am, until the 31st of March, as part of its efforts to fight the spread of Coronavirus.
In its statement on Facebook, the cabinet stressed that this decision does not include bakeries, pharmacies, grocery stores, and supermarkets.
A few minutes later, the cabinet made another announcement, adding sports clubs and youth centers, to the list of facilities to be closed from 7 pm to 6 am, until the 31st of March.
Up till now, there are 210 confirmed cases of people affected by the COVID-19 virus in Egypt, according to the World Health Organization Egypt.
