Dedicated solely to women filmmakers, the event shall take place from April 20 to 25. The artistic office is headed by Safaa Murad, and its members include film critics like Amal Magdy and Rola Adel. Over the past four months, they have diligently reviewed numerous submissions by aspiring filmmakers from all over the world.

The good news is that the festival is going to provide Short Film workshops that are fully funded by the European Union in Egypt and the Egyptian Cinema Center.

It’s worth mentioning that this festival is held in cooperation with the Tourism and Culture ministries, the National Women’s Council, the Aswan Governorate, and the Filmmakers Syndicate.
