Arab Designers Take Over Cannes Film Festival 2019 Red carpet

This year has been a huge success for the region at the Cannes film Festival 2019. Seven Arab films were screened in the Cannes lineup back in April; two from Palestine, two from Algeria, two from Morocco, and one from Tunisia. This makes it the largest participation from the Middle East in the festival’s history.

Other than the movie industry’s success, the red carpets have been dominated by Middle Eastern designers; lebanese in specific. Everyone seemed to love the glitz that designers of Lebanon are knon for.
