Yoga Mat

This is your number one essential, this yoga mat is your base workout essential that will help and motivate you to continue the rest of your workouts.

Dumbbells/Resistance Bands

Dumbbells are often used for joint-isolation exercises such as biceps curls. Now regarding resistance bands, each band exerts a particular amount of force on your muscles when stretched and can be used in both upper and lower body training. They are a great way to help you improve your flexibility, but you can also use them to improve joint mobility.

Jump Rope

An essential piece of equipment your home gym should always have for an incredibly effective cardio workout.

Kettlebell

The shape of a kettlebell lets you work your muscles a little differently than a traditional dumbbell and most importantly they’re your key for strength training. The way they’re shaped makes them easier to move around. You can also hold them by the handle or the bell (the round part of the weight) to get a different range of motion, depending on the kettlebell exercise you’re doing.

Aerobics Step

Whether you’re using it for cardio or as a bench for dumbbell chest presses, these sturdy but lightweight platforms will allow you to crank up the intensity of your next training session.
