ADIB-Egypt Marked An Exciting End To 2023 By Racking Up 37 International Awards
Nothing says ending a year on a high note quite like winning awards. Egypt’s Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) in 2023 alone has garnered an impressive number of 37 international awards; including best Islamic Banking Service for the sixth consecutive year. ADIB is soaring in the financial market, to say the least. It has been recognized by finance giants like Global Finance-a leading financial magazine based in the US-as the best Islamic Financial Institution, for its unwavering commitment and efforts. This year, ADIB surpassed all previous records of international awards, ranking among Forbes Middle East’s top 50 Egypt-listed companies and collecting seven awards from Euromoney, and hailed 37 international awards.
Thriving as a leading player in the banking sector, ADIB culminated 37 international awards from different financial institutions this year. This is not new to them as last year, in 2022 the bank seized 22 awards.
These awards serve as a tribute to the bank’s exceptional performance and unwavering commitment to reimagining and adding innovation to the world of banking.
Along the years, ADIB not only has been recognized by Global Finance, it also has been honored as Best Shariah Compliant Financial Institution. In addition, it has collected four awards in the Digital Banks category, including ‘Best Adaptive Website for mobile banking services’. In Euromoney magazine in 2023 honored ADIB as Best Service Provider in Egypt’s technology sector next to other five awards recognizing its impact in aspects like digital solutions, and financing small, medium, and large enterprises.
CEO and Managing Director of ADIB-Egypt, Mohamed Aly said, “These awards are a testament to the confidence in our leadership of Islamic banking and our dedication to driving progress in digital technology.” He added, “These [international] accolades highlight our exceptional performance in recent months and affirm our pioneering position in the Egyptian market.”
These awards are only a mere symbol of the bank’s success, and it’s exciting to see what 2024 holds for ADIB.
