Via Aawsat

One of the most popular stars of this generation who brought us some of the funniest shows including 2016’s “Nelly & Sherihan” is the one and only Donia Samir Ghanem. This year, she’s making a huge comeback with her fantasy-fueled comedy “Gat Salima” were we’ll see the star transported into a medieval world with her fictional brother.

Taht El Wesaya

Everyone who knows and loves Mona Zaki are pretty excited for her latest show, “Taht El Wesaya” were we will get to see Zaki plunge herself in a role that places her within the patriarchal world of a bustling seaport. From watching the trailer of the show, we understood that to fend for herself and her two kids, she will end up becoming a fisherwoman and face several obstacles along her journey.

Mystery Box

For all the detective buffs out there, it’s time to celebrate as this Ramadan we’re getting our very own detective mystery series dubbed “Mystery Box”. After receiving a mysterious box that contains items connected to a murder, expect to see Ahmed Dash, Huda El Mufti and Ali Kassem putting on their detective hats to unravel the truth.

Taghyeer Gaw

Bringing mental health to the forefront is Menna Shalaby’s tantalizing drama “Taghyeer Gaw”, a series that will chronicle the unstable relationship between Shalaby’s character Sherifa and her mother who is struggling with substance abuse. This kind of story places a lens on the intricacies of familial relationships and we have a feeling it will give us those hard hitting realistic scenes just like the ones we saw on Al Harsha Al Sabaa.

With all these shows coming up, let us know in the comments which one you are most excited about and which one you think will be a total flop.
