I can’t seem but notice the mass depression in Egypt these days. For the past 2 years we have been seeing ups and downs, we have seen deaths, unfairness, political discussions everywhere we go. Yet, we have managed to find a way to escape all of this; some of us by eating a lot, some of us by drinking a lot and others by escaping to other countries and creating a bubble within a bubble.

However what I’m seeing now is beyond all this. For the past 2 years, all the above tactics have worked for most of us. We were fighters! We still are! At least until the initial constitution results were out. Then all hell broke loose!

You speak to the bawab or to a senior top exec in the corporate world, it is the same exact tone; you get a sense of giving up, you get a sense of despair, mixed with anger and frustration.

I personally Was not part of this change. I personally was against this from the beginning. But yet, i am depressed as well, I am frustrated, angry and betrayed.

What are our options though, Give up? My ass! Therefore I have decided to write down some steps to overcome this.

1) I hereby announce that Morsi is not and will not rule me.

2) I hereby announce that any negativity coming out of any of my friends & family will not be tolerated. If it continues, i will have to pause you from my life and play you when you are back to normal. This is for my sanity 🙂

3) I hereby announce that i will start celebrating Xmas and get in the festive mood. No one can take this from me! I Plan my day, i plan my life, and i Plan to have me some fun you f**kers!

4) I hereby announce that i am cutting out any Ikhwanis from my life. Call it non democratic, uncivilized, it is MY CHOICE. No hard feelings there, please go ahead and cut me out of yours. I refuse to deal with people terrorizing my country.

5) I hereby announce that since Retail Therapy is leading me to bankruptcy, i will replace it with Online shopping and keep all my choices in the basket unpaid 🙂

6) I hereby announce that any motherf**ker who judged me 2 years ago for my different point of view without acknowledging it and now tries to speak to me about it can kiss my ass!

7) I hereby announce that any a**hole who judges me for any other specific point , can kiss my ass as well!

8) I hereby announce that i will get a 4th tattoo with my best friend as a tribute for our 3rd best friend we lost 50 days ago.

9) I hereby announce that Egypt is my country in which some extra terrestrials have gained control. They can control the politics, the chairs in the parliament, the media, but i will be damned if they control how i continue my life in it.

WE SAID THIS: Hold your head high, and your middle finger higher!
