So it seems that Facebook has been busy working on improving their interenal search system to come out with the Graph Search. It is basically being able to search within you social metwork on specifics in plain english. It is smart enough to figure out which friends has the most interactions with and it goes to further lenghts than ever before in social circles. >> Samsung Introduces a new game changer: Bendable Screens

Samsung isnt just getting a more traction than its smartphone competitor Apple, it is upping it’s game to a whole new level! It has been rumoured before that they’re working on such prototypes, but just at the CES conference last week, after fighting a never ending battle with Apple over patents they have rolled out sceeens that bend! Yes, Bendable screens. Dubbed as the “Youm” Technology for flexible OLEDs. 

This is definetly a game changer on all levels and not just in the smartphone world, imagine tablets, marketing communication devices and all products for that matter! And is that the prototype for the S4, probably IS!

Back in September, the MySpace team announced the new version of the music based social network and made it available to a few members, today it has opened up its doors to everyone!

The launch of the new site was timed perfectly with a new Justin Timberlake single “Suit & Tie”. I’m not sure what the song has to do with the website but maybe there is some kind of promotion/co-branding/endorsement going on here. Maybe it just looks good, well we’ll see. It’s a sext looking version of the site I must say though.

>> The First Bookless Public Library

I dont know about you but I never joined the whole E-book revolution. It’s just something about a hard cover/paperback book that makes it easier and more enjoyable. Well, not for this Texan Judge of Bexar County, who was inspired and pushed to develop a bookless library after reading Walter Isaacson’s authorized biography of late Apple co-founder Steve Jobs.

The library system, dubbed BiblioTech, proposes to make thousands of e-books available for county residents both online and at a 5,000-square-foot physical location on the South Side of the county, according to a statement issued by Bexar County officials. Visitors would be able to check out books to read on their own e-readers or tablets, or borrow one of the library’s 150 take-home e-readers. 

Creepy much? I dont know, nothing will take away my beloved books, but I guess sometimes you gotta roll with the days…

Google’s malware checker yesterday started to detect ads from isocket‘s advertising network, distributed via the adsbyisocket.com URl, as a threat. The result is that sites using the advertising network are throwing up malware warnings on some pages visited by Google Chrome. These include TechCrunch, Cult Of Mac, and possibly others.

The Windows Phones have cauaed quite the stir in the last quarter of 2012 and continue to grow in the market, and to kickoff 2013, Microsoft has announced a new contest for developers called Windows Phone Next App Star. The top prize is a featured placement of the app in a Windows Phone prime-time TV ad in the US. 

That’s quite the investor-finder if you ask me, so if you’ve got the keels go for the heels…
