Egypt’s Paralympic Table Tennis Team Nabs 13 Medals At International Championship
Winning not one but 13 medals was Egypt’s Paralympic team during the second day of the Jordan International Paralympic Table Tennis Championship. The team made up of 14 players won a total of 13 medals in the men’s and women’s singles competition which included two gold, seven silver and four bronze medals.
This was part of a three-day tournament that was held from June 1 to 3 where 118 players from 17 countries including Algeria, Canada, Iraq, Jordan, South Korea, Slovakia and Bulgaria competed for the gold medal. The entire tournament is part of the qualifying rounds for the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games which will be held from August 28 to Sept. 8.
