Middle Eastern Women Dominating the Cover of Forbes Magazine

Forbes magazine tends to tackle relevant subjects and is always a go-to choice for every insightful reader. In several issues, it featured iconic people who have created and taken part in tremendous achievements over the years. During the past few years, their lists grew stronger and included numerous Middle Eastern icons and today, we’ll be mentioning some of these women who made it onto a Forbes magazine cover.

Honayda Sarafi

The Saudi Arabian fashion designer, landed her first Forbes cover this month after her designs were loved by Middle Eastern and Hollywood celebrities. Her new collection will be featured during this year’s upcoming Paris Fashion Week. Check out our article about Honayda Sarafi to know more.

Mary Nazzal

Marry is the founder of Landmark Hotels and she’s a Lebanese social entrepreneur. She was featured the Forbes’s Middle East cover story ”Hospitality Meets Humanity”, and, of course, she has been ranked on Forbes magazine’s ”Most powerful women list”. Her career revolves around social justice and she has been recognized for her legal activism, her impact on the community and her business’s success.

Ghizlan Guenez

Ghizlan is an Algerian CEO of the e-commerce tailer, ”The Modist”. She was recognized in one of the 500 people who were shaping the global industry on the (BoF). Guenez is also acknowledged as ”Forbes biggest player in today’s transforming retail markets”.

Raja Al Gurg

Raja is an Emirati businesswoman. She is the first Emirati woman on the board of HSBC Bank Middle East and a Board Member on the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Al Gurg has been ranked as the ”Most Powerful Emirati Businesswoman” on Forbes Middle East

Farah Al Asmar

Al Asmar is a Jordanian hand-bag designer and she was known for designing some of Queen Rania’s hand-bags. The renowned designer is now expanding her name as an affordable luxury handbag designer, and Al Asmar was recognized on Forbes’s list of ”Women Behind Middle Eastern Brands”.

Ola Doudin

Doudin is the Jordanian CO-founder of BitOasis which is a bitcoin consumer-wallet focused on cash-based emerging markets. Ola was granted the mention on Forbes’s list ”Most Promising UAE-based Startups”.

Mai Medhat

Egyptian founder and CEO of Eventtus, an event organizer who initiated her business to help organize various events and was recognized by the White House Aide. Mai got featured on Forbes’s list of ”The 20 Most Promising Egyptian Startups.”

Tanaz Dizadji

Dizadji is the Iranian Founder & CEO of insydo, a search-centric city guide that provides people with curated recommendations, she also won the ”business leader of the year” prize. Tanaz was granted recognition on Forbes’s list ”Top 100 Startups of 2018.”

Randa Bessiso

Randa Bessiso is a Middle East Director at The University of Manchester, she’s a Lebanese businesswoman and a media commentator who focused on market entry strategies, and channel development programs. Bessiso was named as ”One Of The Most Influential Women of 2018” by Forbes’s magazine.

Aya and Mounaz Abdelraouf

Aya and Mounaz are the CEOs and founders of the regional and international celebrities favorite handbag brand, Okhtein. The sisters have been ranked on the Forbes list of ”30 Under 30” after their phenomenal success amongst the Egyptian celebrities and worlwide handbag lovers.
