Saudi’s “Roads of Arabia” to be Exhibited in Louvre Abu Dhabi This November
If you are into Arabic and ancient history, then you are going to really enjoy the second exhibition of the Louvre Abu Dhabi on November the 8th. The event will be held under the patronage of HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi’s Crown Prince, in partnership with the Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage (SCTH) and Louvre Abu Dhabi.
Entitled “Roads of Arabia: Archaeological Treasure of Saudi Arabia”, the exhibit is a cultural map of the heritage of Saudi Arabia. “Roads of Arabia” is set to be a journey for the visitors throughout various periods of the country, including the prehistoric period, the Bronze age, and the Islamic period. History fanatics will also enjoy this museum as it includes the three stages of the establishment of the Kingdom up to the reign of HM the late King Abdulaziz.
“Roads of Arabia” originally made its debut back in 2018 at the Musée du Louvre in Paris. The exhibition showcased ancient relics from the Kaaba, a 6,000-year-old Anthropomorphic Stele from the Northwestern city of Haíl, and a centuries-old funerary mask. The renowned exhibition has previously taken part along 13 museums across Europe, Asia, and the United States.
