Charity and the spirit of giving are no strangers to Dubai during the holy month of Ramadan.
In cooperation with the Traffic authorities, the UAE has launched an initiative to give out meals to workers who are rushing home to break their fasting. Every evening, Al Ihsan Charity Association volunteers are found in the streets of UAE distributing Iftar meals amongst residents.
To everyone’s surprise, a G-class Mercedes pulled up with none other than his Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to oversee the Ramadan Programme. His Highness greeted the volunteers and praised their unprecedented devotion in the path of serving UAE communities.
The moment was documented by the Green Sheikh, Sheikh Abdulaziz Al Nuaimi who captured the moment and shared it to Instagram with a caption saying “One of the most wonderful quotes that Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid said… With a positive outlook, you will see challenges as opportunities, the future full of success and people packed with potential, abilities, talent, and goodness.”
Residents and volunteers also did not fall short recording the moment and uploading it to the social media platforms.
