The countdown for this year’s Creative Industry Summit has officially started, marking the 8th event for the Creative Industry Summit since it was first launched four years ago. The event is considered a hub for the creative ecosystem where people from all over the region, working in various creative fields, come together. So, we’ve compiled a list of reasons why you should be super excited for this year’s unique learning experience; that’s taking place on the 17th and 18th of April at the Four Seasons, Nile Plaza.
The Theme: CONTENT
As creatives; no matter in which field we’re specialized in, we all have moments of creative blocks. We struggle every day to convey certain messages to our audiences in the most creative way. How the clutter keeps on getting bigger makes the vital task of producing content more challenging. So, having content as a theme for this year’s summit is definitely worth the wait.

Out of all the talks in the agenda, we’re eagerly waiting for this one in particular. If you haven’t heard of KFC’s flirting burgers, Woei Hern Chan, who has made it to Campaign’s 40 Under 40, the annual list of the brightest, high-achieving young people in the marketing communications business, is going to tell you all about it. The executive creative director of Ensemble Worldwide, IPG Mediabrands, has come all the way from Malaysia to tell us more about the campaign that has harvested many awards, including the WARC Awards, Grand Prix, and Effective Content Strategy, 2017.
You’ll get to know where marketing and neuroscience intersect
Even though the two topics seem like completely opposite ones, Dana Griffen, Founder of INNRDesign and whose name was once among those in Ad Age’s 40 Under 40, is going to talk about neuro-marketing. We’re pretty sure this is going to be a very interesting one and you surely don’t want to miss it.
Naguib Sawiris is going to be there!
Naguib Sawiris, Executive Chairman for Orascom Telecom Media and Technology Holding, will be the keynote speaker for the event. Many of us look up to this man and take pride in him and his success.
