The Middle East’s First-Ever Porsche Design Hotel To Open in Saudi Arabia

Over the years, Saudi Arabia has captivated our attention through multiple partnerships with world-leading brands to develop initiatives that would elevate and transform The Kingdom into a powerhouse and a top travel destination.

Hotels became one of Saudi Arabia’s specialties with the opening of the world’s first camel hotel (Tatman) and the first 3D hotel in the Middle East (Habitas), which uses 3D printing architecture to address the larger conversation of environmental preservation.

Consequently, The Tourism Development Fund (TDF) and Deutsche Hospitality have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to build and operate Steigenberger Porsche Design Hotels in Saudi Arabia. This will be the first hotel of its kind in the Middle East, combining design, technology, and high-end hospitality to provide each visitor with an exquisite trip upon check-in.

It is yet unknown whether this hotel will open in the Saudi capital of Riyadh, Jeddah, or another city in The Kingdom. Whatever the case may be, the hotel will be a first for the brand in the Middle East, thanks to an agreement made with Saudi Arabia’s Tourism Development Fund to launch the hotel exclusively in the region.

The fascinating Steigenberger Porsche Design Hotels will combine Porsche lifestyle design with Steigenberger hospitality and service quality to create a unique hotel concept in the lifestyle market. The hotels will have a restaurant and a bar concept, unique meet and greet places, and world-class health and beauty amenities, including a gym and wellness area, with a minimum of 150 rooms, suites, and penthouses.

Deutsche Hospitality’s CEO, Marcus Bernhardt stated:

We’re excited to work with TDF on new hotel developments in Saudi Arabia, including the Middle East’s first Steigenberger Porsche Design Hotel which will be a response to the sophisticated needs of the Saudi market, providing a one-of-a-kind and original experience.

TDF’s CEO, Qusai Al-Fakhri, expressed his delight at the prospect of working with Deutsche Hospitality to combine world-class hospitality with high standards in order to encourage large corporations to invest in, build, and run high-quality and luxurious hotel projects in Saudi Arabia.

This is a significant step forward for Saudi Arabia in the hospitality sector, as the country has been attracting massive investments and seeking to become one of the world’s top vacation destinations, not just in the Middle East, but in the world!

WE SAID THIS: We can’t wait for the grand opening of this mega-project, which will forever redefine the hospitality landscape in the region!
