Stella Million Man March

So we came across this event on Facebook. It is calling out for a million man march to the Presidential Palace on Thursday 28th of June with Stella Beer!! Bare in mind this has nothing to do with the beer brand itself, the event was created by a guy name Ahmed El Bahhar.

So why do that? According to the event page, this march is intended for the newly elected President Morsi. It is a celebration to the end of the SCAF ruling and a warning to Morsi on religious ruling in political and social matters. It also stats that this a peaceful march only to prove a point that Egypt will not be another Iran.

The event organizer is actually very serious about this event and is stating that in bold at the end of the event description stating that this is crucial for the start of the Muslim Brotherhood Rule in Egypt.

Will it actually happen? Why did the organizer decide to use Stella specifically, and what does Stella have to say about this? If this happens, isn’t that illegal in term of alcohol use in public, would that lead to the participants’ arrest?
