You’ll Never Guess the Country with the Fastest Internet in the Arab World
I don’t know about you, but the Internet is pretty cool. Like, so cool that I cannot live without it. In fact, it’s possibly the most important thing in my life — and other people’s lives. Which is why my heart was struck with terror when I stumbled upon this new study from English cable company Cable UK that has compiled a ranking of worldwide Internet speed.

Why was I afraid? Because this study confirmed what I’ve always known to be true, it confirmed that the Internet in the Middle East is among the worst in the world.

Cable UK ranked countries in their study based on how long it would take them to download a 7.5GB HD movie, and Singapore topped that list with a download speed of 18 minutes and 34 seconds — YALAHWI, I WANT THAT! They’ve also shared the country that has the fastest speed in the Middle East and it is not what I had in mind at all. Yup, it’s not the UAE; it’s Morocco with a download speed of 3:53:40.
Next in line is the UAE with 4:05:39, Qatar with 4:05:39, Tunisia with 4:52:23, Bahrain with 5:27:18.
