Wonderland Weekend: Enter 2017 with a Big Bang at El Gouna
New Year’s Eve is the night to end all nights. It’s a gift in a way as it gives you the chance to wrap up the mess that was 2016 (and what a big mess that thing was). So yes, you better choose wisely how you’re going to spend it.
This year, the bewildering land of El Gouna is pulling out all the stops with their Wonderland Weekend. What’s that, you say? It’s a wonderland extravaganza for a New Year weekend that’s bound to be full of parties, exclusive performances as well as top notch international ones. “For an entire weekend, El Gouna celebrates this wondrous season as street artists, musicians, Christmas chorales, flea markets will flood the streets.
The Wonderland Weekend will kick off on Thursday 29th with Mirror Mirror, a party that will prepare you for the very big day, and obviously will only have “the fairest of them all.”
On Saturday 31st, get ready to put 2016 in the past and enter the new freakin’ year with a big bang as La Maison Bleu gets taken over by Midnight in Wonderland; the NYE party that’ll end all other parties. Count the seconds to the new year while you dance the night away to the unstoppable beats of Guzel Mykonos’ resident DJ C. Papas and the voice of Priscila Due. Oh, and let’s not forget shik-shak-shoking with Egypt’s top belly dancer Amie Sultan.
