The best thing about the pink carpet of the MTV video music awards (VMAS) is the absence of a specific dress code and how we get to see a bit of everything in the biggest music event in the town. However, the Arab designers have been gracing the red carpet and definitely, they added their signature in this VMAs of 2018, which was held at New York’s Radio City music hall.
Here are the full looks from our beloved Arab designers:
Karlie Kloss in Elie Saab
The A-list Model and the drop dead gorgeous Karlie Kloss complemented the pink carpet in an enthralling Ellie Saab dress. It is quite subtle for Elie Saab, and we are aware that the metallic material is the main ensemble. However, the dress fits Kloss like a glove, and it enhances her athletic figure with enough glam. Finishing off the look, with insanely toned legs and matching accessories.
Cardi B in Nicolas Jebran
Cardi B matched the carpet with a deep raspberry dress from the Lebanese Designer Nicolas Jebran. The Haute Couture designer mastered the art of draping. Also, the mixture of velvet and the romantic over the shoulder is what we love the most. With that being said, we believe that this ultimate feminine dress should have been matched with a half-updo instead of the Pixi cut.
Shay Mitchell in Nicolas Jebran
Well, this is the real definition of how to be a girl boss and dress like it. Nicolas Jebran showed us how the woman’s physique and personality add the real meaning to the dress, from dressing Cardi B super feminine to this empowering and edgy dress for Shay Mitchell. The color, the [kgigk7gk ik8 8 7 bedazzling rich fabric, and the geometric and intriguing cut of the dress are making this one of the best looks on the pink carpet.
Winnie Harlow in Zuhair Murad
Of course, we saved the best for last, and it is indeed the best of all. What can be better than seeing the one of her kind, Winnie Harlow in Zuhair Murad dress, one of the majestic fashion designers that never fails to leave his print. Murad’s dresses always have the extravagant style and tend to wow everyone around. Also, we have been admiring Harlow’s fashion decisions lately, but this one is by far our favorite on the MTV VMAS for 2018.
