UAE Ranked Fourth Globally on This Skyscrapers List

According to The Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH), three out of five tallest buildings completed in 2017 were in Dubai! With 95 towers reaching 200 meters or greater in height by the end of 2017; UAE was ranked fourth globally in terms of skyscrapers.

Developed by Emaar Properties, Marina 101 is now the second tallest building in Dubai and UAE after Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest tower. The 101-story hotel and residential development is the third tallest in the Middle East and 18th tallest globally. It’s also the tallest completed skyscraper in Dubai last year, scaling 425 meters.

The second tallest building completed in 2017 in Dubai was the 73-story Address Boulevard which scales 370 meters in height.

Rizwan Sajan, Founder and Chairman of Danube Group, stated to Khaleej Times “Sky scraping homes have always held an allure; a house with a view, a life in the sky”.

Skyscrapers do not only add to the architectural beauty of Dubai, it immensely boosts tourism.
