Toronto-Based Artist Malayka Fuses English and Arabic Pop in Her Series ‘Mazeej Sessions’

As we’re always on the hunt for everything cool and artsy, we came across a very interesting music project that you should definitely check out, Mazeej Sessions! The project is a series of fusions between English and Arabic pop songs; the latest song mashes Samira Said’s “Yom Wara Yom” and Maroon 5’s “Memories”, and the outcome is absolute magic!

The project is created by the very talented Malayka, a Toronto-based Egyptian fusion pop singer, and The Voice Middle East contestant. She was inspired by her mentor in The Voice, Samira Said, to create this amazing fusion between the two songs!

The mesmerizing singer has toured Canada three times and the Middle East twice. The past few years have seen Malayka perform in multiple Canadian music festivals and open for many artists including Massar Egbari, Mahmoud El Esseily, and P!nk.

WE SAID THIS: Her voice is absolutely amazing!
