Womena just announced that they’re now accepting applicants for this year’s Womentum, their female-led startups’ accelerator! The accelerator was launched in 2018 and has graduated nine startups from six different Arab countries with at least one female co-founder!

The countries were the United Arab Emirates, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Jordan, Morocco, and Tunisia.

The program takes four months, and it will start with two weeks in Berlin, followed by a remote execution phase in which startups will be provided with virtual mentorship as they work in their home countries. Finally, there will be another two-week program in Dubai where the startups will get the chance to present their products to key stakeholders of the ecosystem in the demo day. Womena will cover the cost of flight tickets for up to two founders and also provide accommodation in both cities and help them with the visas.

“We’re looking to surpass all expectations in 2019 and once again, prove that the region is poised to be a global hotbed for tech change-makers,” said the Founder of Womena, Elissa Freiha. You can know everything about Womentum by clicking here.
