This Brazilian Artist Is Transforming the Streets of Abu Dhabi With His Art
The streets of Abu Dhabi have been getting more and more vivid over the days, and it is all because the Emirate contracted a number of well-known local as well as international street artists to revamp the capital’s streets.
One artist, in particular, has been introducing lifelike murals with portraits of people on a rainbow-colored palette. With the title ‘Tolerance’, this masterpiece shows the faces of the Emirates on buildings by the sea in Al-Bateen, Abu Dhabi.
Occupying an area of 2,000 square meters, the artwork is considered one of Eduardo Kobra’s bigger murals incorporating signature elements of his such as harlequin patterns and vivid imagery.
Kobra has one million followers on Instagram, and with such a huge fan base, he describes himself as a street art soldier. The international artist has thousands of pieces showcased in 40 countries over five continents.
