She first arrived at Jordan in 2012 with a paralyzed husband and two teenagers to support. Sameera really hopes that her project will bring closer the refugee community and the Jordanian native residents. she also hopes that it will elevate their economic status.

The program helps women in a community that shames females who choose to go to work, when in fact, most of the refugee families are lead by women. It also has elevated the social status of many women who work in the industry of collecting garbage.

WE SAID THIS: Gaining money from Garbage can be great!
