The UAE Ranks the Safest Place in the World!
The United Arab Emirates has officially been ranked as the world’s safest place, according to a new study that was announced at the 12th International Symposium for Police Best Practices in Dubai last week. It showed that about 96.1% of the UAE residents actually feel safe walking by themselves at night. The Emirates has recently recorded the lowest rape cases, murder, kidnapping, and abduction!
“The UAE’s policies and strategies were behind the achievement to make the country the safest place in the world,” said the Deputy Chairman of Police and Public Security in Dubai, Lt. General Dahi Khalfan Tamim.
On the other hand, the UAE was ranked the second in the world, after New York City, for its quick police responses when reporting incidents, thanks to GPS systems that are installed in patrol’s cars. This has made it easier for them to get to the scene of the incident quickly. The UAE’s police officials also hailed the smartphone applications which led residents, as well as visitors, to easily make reports or complaints. Those security measures made it possible for residents to feel safer.
The UAE has been scoring high in a lot of other studies; a report by a top consulting firm, Boston Consulting Group (BCG), which was issued last month, ranked the country as one of the happiest in the world. Additionally, at the beginning of this year, 2019, the nation was named as one of the world’s best places to work in; ranking fourth for economics according to HSBC’s Expat Explorer survey.
One of the top reasons for moving to the UAE is the increased earnings, career progression, and the improvement of the quality of life. Two third of expats said that they had more disposable income with 85% paying off their debts which allowed them to easily build up their savings.
WE SAID THIS: At the end of the day, the goals are simple; safety and security.
