Most of us have heard about the negative reviews Suicide Squad has been receiving, but none of them compare to Rotten Tomatoes giving the movie 26%. As a DC fan, does that affect your decision of watching the film? Does this disappoint you? Does it even bother you?

One point we should all take into consideration is that reviews written by critics should not affect your own opinion. But of course, some people had no chill and wouldn’t let this fly. By people I mean DC fans, who weren’t happy whatsoever with the reviews the movie got. I was quite surprised when I found out that Egyptian Abdullah Saleh, also known as Abdullah Coldwater, was making waves over the Internet as he started a petition to shutdown Rotten Tomatoes for publishing very negative reviews on the movie.

Coldwater then closed the petition then started a new positive one titled “Don’t listen to film criticism,” telling people not to let film reviews affect their opinion on the quality of the film. Coldwater wrote in the petition: “There’s A Disconnect Between Critics And Audiences, You may enjoy a movie regardless what the critics say about it, we must get the people to know that the criticism not the measure of the quality of movies, it’s just the opinions of the critics.”

WE SAID THIS: 22,284 signed the petition, and about 17,600 signed the first one on the first day.
