Sherif Madkour Gets Candid About Chemotherapy
A state of grief hit Egyptians as Sherif Madkour announced he was diagnosed with colon cancer. The Egyptian TV host posted a photo of himself looking quite drained on a hospital bed. Later, Madkour took to Facebook to explain that there’s a problem with his colon without getting into details. Sadly, news came out shortly afterward that he had colon cancer.
Egypt’s most lovable TV personality became candid about his diagnosis and treatment yet has remained positive since he shared the news of his condition. During an interview on 4 Share’ Sherif with the oncologist, Ebtesam Saad El-Din, the TV host explained that while people cannot understand why he returned to work, his job seemed to calm him down.
Madkour further explained that he had a chemotherapy session three days earlier and even though he was exhausted, he still needed the distraction.
