Seven Jordanian Street Artists Join Forces and Take on Downtown, Amman

A group of seven street artists pulled up their sleeves and pimped up the Al-Kalha Stairway in the downtown of the Jordanian capital, Amman. Omar Shahin, Yazan Hija, Miramar Moh’d, Alaa Asfour, Ghazal Hassan, Zainab K. Alqadi and Abood Amjad did not sleep; they worked for 48 hours.

Shahin boasted about their work in a Facebook post saying that the work is going to be ready for people to see in the big event this week presenting the stairway’s new look.

In the post, he thanked Sipes for supporting them with paint, the engineers who communicated with them among others who seem to have added great help to this project.

“And finally, we wanted to end this work by this phrase at the beginning of the wall: Indeed, the rise of this country will be done with the hands of its youth,” Shahin concluded his post.
