Egypt Petroleum Show (EGYPS) is returning for its second edition, from the 12th till the 14th of February, at Egypt International Exhibition Center in Cairo. EGYPS is North Africa’s largest Oil & Gas Exhibition & Conference.

This year, more than 400 companies from 75 countries, 15,0000 attendees, and 150 experts speakers are participating. Among the Energy leaders and influencers participating are Mohammad Barkindo, Secretary General in the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), Gasser Hanter, Vice President, Country Chairman, and Managing Director of Shell Egypt, and David Chi, Regional Vice President and General Manager of Apache Egypt and many others.

“Egypt is currently accelerating all ongoing projects to bring all resources and discoveries together and on-stream as fast as possible. We are achieving self-sufficiency of gas, hopefully, by the end of 2018. Hence, afterwards, by 2019 and beyond we will be able to restore our export facilities and resume the export of gas,” said Tarek El Molla, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources.

The strategic conference has been enhanced this year to match the industries’ growth and development. It will feature CEO Strategic Round-tables to examine how the upstream, mainstream, and downstream sectors represent a crucial catalyst to realize Egypt’s sustainable energy development.

EGYPS is created to foster growth, promote strategic partnership, and enhance collaboration across oil and gas industry. It provides the opportunity to gain insights into the upcoming oil and gas opportunities in Egypt and North Africa.

On the second day of the conference there will be a Women In Energy conference held, which aims to provide opportunities for women in Egypt and North Africa in the oil sector. As well as a Security & HSE In Energy Conference addressing the key issues around security, health, safety, and environment.

Join over 200 oil and gas professionals at #EGYPS2018 Women in Energy.
