Jordanian-based Mawdoo3, just launched Salma, their Arabic personal voice assistant. Mawdoo3 is the world’s leading website when it comes to Arabic content, hosting over 130,000 articles on topics ranging from art, medicine, and sports to history and even food recipes in Arabic.

They announced their project, Salma, back in March 2018, and launched it at TechWadi Annual Forum 2019 in California.

Salma is now available as an IOS and Android App, and according to the website, the personal assistant can help users know the weather forecast, currency exchange rates, and prayer times. Moreover, it can help the user set an alarm, play music, or call anyone all with a voice command.

You can ask Salma about whatever you like and she’ll look it up and get back to you. This week we also announced that Will.i.am is joining forces with Majid Al Futtaim to create the Arabic version of Alexa called Omega, and now we have the Arabic version of Siri, Salma.

WE SAID THIS: Salma is giving me mad “Her” vibes. If you haven’t watched the movie, I recommend you watch it before you download her.
