Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead in Dubai
The fine folk at Dubai Drama Group (DDG) are continuing their season with Tom Stoppard’s Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead. This dark comedy has been running for the past couple of days but it’ll go until Feb. 1 at the Kilachand Studio Theatre.
This classic theatrical piece takes place during Shakespeare’s Hamlet. Rosencrantz and Guildenstern, the main two characters, discuss the confusing events unfolding before them, taking you back in time with a twist.
Stoppard is know to be one of the premier “dramatists of his generation” and has done excellent work for many TV, radio, film and stage shows, winning numerous awards, including an Academy Award as well as a Tony Award for Best Play for Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead.
