Queen B Rocking a Fashion Masterpiece in Her Latest Video by Tunisia’s Donia Allegue
By Summer El-Morally
The Carters, AKA Beyoncé, and Jay-Z also the ultimate King and Queen of R&B, have just released their latest music video “APESHIT”. We can all agree that the video is aesthetically pleasing, as they literally took over The Louvre and featured the extravagant turban design of the French-Tunisian Milliner, Donia Allegue.
The Tunisian’s voguish design makes an appearance in a sumptuous scene; which was filmed in front of Venus de Milo, an ancient Greek Statue. This distinguished masterpiece took her 8 hours to make, while her handsewn turbans take up to 6 hours on average, according to Allegue. We have to mention that the milliner designer has launched her label DONIA ALLEGUE in Paris in 2014, after several years of work experience with Christian Dior. Her designs took less than 4 years to be showcased among all-time prominent Fashion Houses including Burberry, Balmain, and Versace in this music video.
