“Photocopy” to Represent Egypt in Russia’s KIMFF and We Couldn’t Be More Proud!

“Photocopy”, the winner of El-Gouna Golden Star Award for Best Arabic Feature Narrative Film in GFF’s first edition, is set to compete in Kazan International Muslim Film Festival in Russia.

The movie, which was written by Egyptian Journalist and Scriptwriter, Hesham Dabbour, revolves around the life of a senior citizen after his retirement, with its share of love, friendship, and issues facing the elderly in Egypt.

Mahmoud Hemeda, Sherine Reda, Farah Youssef, and Ahmed Dash have all collaborated on this movie, with Tamer Ashry as the Director.

“Photocopy” was shown as the closing film in the Arabian Cinema Week in New York City, in addition to having been screened at the fifth International Arab Cinema Meetings in Marseille, and at the Cairo International Film Festival.
